The Protection area of PGI Shanxi Mature Vinegar, approved by National Bureau of Quality Inspection, is located in the middle of Shanxi province, 37”16”~38”02”N and 112”18”~113”10E.

 

This area owns the high-quality natural groundwater, the rich soil and the four distinct seasons, which is suitable for the growth of grain. Only the vinegar brewed in the area can use the logo of Geographical Indication.

Our traditional technology for brewing vinegar was originated form Meiheju Vinegar Workshop which was established in 1368 AD.
