This game once again reinforced the idea that learning really is everywhere with interest-led activities. This game utilizes imagination, coordination, the ability to organise and of course fashion sense . It has added new vocabulary as we talk about kimonos, saris and garlands. It has also sparked conversations about where each of these new friends live and their culture. We pulled out our old Peters Projection Map and identified the countries where each of the friends came from.   As we have added even more clothes and people, Keeyah's interest in different people and  the way they dress, speak and the diversity world we live in has been ignited.  All from a simple dress-up game – amazing!   I’m planning to add a new tray of dress up princesses, pirates and mermaids very soon for  more fun, imaginative storytelling and fantasy adventures. Watch this space!
