Product description
115KVDEADENDTOWERFOR POWER TRANSMISSION
Dead-end tower, also named anchor tower or
anchor pylon, uses horizontal strain insulators and occur at the endpoints of
conductors. Such endpoints are necessary when interfacing with other modes of
power transmission and, due to the inflexibility of the conductors, when
significantly altering the direction of the tower line. Dead-end towers are
also employed at branch points as branch pylons. A tower at which the power
line runs further as overhead line and as underground cable is a branch tower
for a cable branch.
MEGATRO provide many types of 115KV dead
end tower fro power transmission for our clients, which is widely use for
oversea clients. 115KV dead end tower for power transmission is used for urban
power grid, it is one good choice for city power transmission due to its less
space, less time to install and are aesthetical in appearance, compared to
conventional lattice tower. Monopole towers use a minimal space requirement,
and with a solid and stable structure from which to add additional carriers.
Till now, we had provided too many 115KV distribution and transmission pole for
American market these years.
MEGATRO is equipped with sophisticated machinery and equipment for the
manufacture of monopole for 115KV power transmission line project, we have
skilled worker with certificated welders, and offers a variety of monopole
types to meet client specific. Tapered steel and flanged steel poles feature
designs that blend well into the environment and require minimum space for
installation. Flanged steel poles are easy to handle and install. Slip type
with precision fitted connections allow quick assembly of sections and total
poles seems uniform and harmony with environment, especially accept by our
foreign clients. Pole sections are available with identical base flange plates,
allowing for simplified modifications of mounting heights.
In material we often adopt mild steel (ASTM A36, Q235B), high strength and
lower alloy (ASTM A572 GR50, GR65, Q345B, Q345C,
Q420, Q460, S355J0, S355JR and equivalent materials). MEGATRO can optimize
design and adjust monopole size to make it less weight, solid strength and
economic cost. After fabrication all towers are delivered to the galvanizing
facility to be Hot DIP Galvanized. Towers are processed through the facility by
Caustic Cleaning, Pickling, and then Fluxing. These strict procedures insure
years of maintenance free towers.
MEGATRO is one of the few manufactures who provide dead-end tower and assemble
every tower section. This attention to quality may not be the cheapest process
but it does insure every tower meets our high standards of quality. And it
helps to reduce on-site construction cost due to mismatched assemblies.
