A lace wig is a hair system that creates the illusion that the hair has naturally grown from the scalp. Each strand of hair is meticulously hand tied on a sheer swiss lace cap to create a lace wig. All of our lace wigs are made with 100% Remy Human hair. Lace wigs come in many different textures, colors, and lengths. They can be custom ordered for a perfect fit or purchased in sizes small, medium or large. There are (6) measurements that will determine the size you will need when ordering a lace wig.   2.What is a Full Lace Wig or Front Lace Wig?
Also known as Full Front Lace Wig, Lace Front Wig or Lace Wig. Full Lace Wigs are full lace with the entire wig cap being designed from transparent lace and it also has transparent lace all around the perimeter of the wig. With the full lace wig, you can wear your hair in high up dos and ponytails. Once applied, the wig creates its own flawless, natural and invisible hairline. A Front Lace or Lace Front Wig only has the transparent lace in the front of the wig and the remainder of the wig is made from a regular netted wig cap. You are not able to wear a front lace wig in high up dos or ponytails.   3.What is the deference between a lace front wig and a full lace wig?
A full lace wig is capable of being parted anywhere on the scalp. They work great if you are going to have the hair going back giving a completely natural hairline worn back or down. The front lace wigs have the lace in the forehead of the wig, .You still get the completely natural look but with the front lace you can’t put it back in a tight pony tail.   4.How are lace wigs applied?
Lace Wigs are applied with adhesive or tape specifically made to attach the units. The wig is set in place and the lace is trimmed back to the hairline leaving approx 1/4 of an inch to glue down around the perimeter of the head.   5.How long will my wig last?
It all depends on the maintenance and care. If cared for and maintained properly it can last from months to  years.

Excellent question....The adhesives will not damage your hairline when applied and removed correctly. Damage of the hairline can be caused by pulling on the lace without properly releasing the bond.   9.How do I measure for length?
When determining the length for your wig, be sure to measure from the crown of your head to the desired location where you want the hair to fall. Our wig lengths come in increments of 2 inches. Example: 10 inches, 12 inches, 14 inches etc.   10.Can I dye/color my lace wig?
Absolutely, however if you decide to color your unit, we suggest you contact a licensed cosmetologist to do the coloring for you. If you plan on doing multiple chemical processes we recommend you  consider virgin unprocessed hair for your unit.   11.Before applying my lace wig, what do I do with my own hair?
Braid, wrap, or cornrow your own hair. A wig cap can also be worn. The goal is to get your hair as flat as possible to prepare for the application process.   12. What is hair density?
Hair density is the thickness of hair. Our stock units typically come with light density around perimeter to medium density throughout. This gives a more natural look. However, if ordering a custom, premium  or medical unit you can choose a lighter or heavier density 13.How do I get the lace off without damaging the wig?
Very carefully, make sure you use the correct solvents to remove the unit. Take your time and do not pull on the lace to remove it. After applying solvent to hairline, rub it in and allow time for it to work. Make sure you completely release the bond from the perimeter before attempting to remove the unit. Spray or apply solvent on areas where adhesive is located. Wait a few minutes for it to work. With a fine tooth comb gently comb out residue. 16.What does it mean when a wig is described as being hand-tied?
Hand-tied is when the hair tied into the cap or weft is knotted by hand.
 
17.What are Bleached Knots?
Bleached knots are a technique where they bleach out the knot that is made when each strand of hair is hand-tied into the lace at the base of the cap. It bleaches the knot out, making it a little lighter so that it does not stand out as much. It gives it a more natural appearance as though the hairs are growing out of the scalp. This is recommended when you choose a dark hair colour.   18.Which Cap Style Do I Chose?
There are many different style caps - the most common are the full lace cap with ear to ear stretch, the full lace cap with no stretch, front lace only cap meaning lace in the front only, full lace cap with thin skin in front and lace around entire perimeter of head.
